That they will be adequately insured by you agains: death or injury during the periods of transit and during thể continuanoe of their employment in Hong Kong in commection with the iwestigation and that you will indeanify the Goverment of Hong Kong against all claims in this respect.

That for these services you will be paid the amount of their actual cost to you plus (five per centum) of this actual cost estimated by you to amount in the aggregate to £900 (nine hundred pounds) and that you will produce such supporting vouchers and other infomation with regard to these costs as may be required by the Goverment of Hong Kong.

That you will provide on hire to the Goverment of Hong Kong all immèruments and all apparstus required for the conducting of the Electrical Resistivity survey, will arrange that such instruments and apparatus shall be available and suitable for use by the Geophysicist at the time of his arrival in Hong Kong, will insure the instruments and apparatus against any loss or damage from the date that they leave your works until the date of their return thereto and will indemnify the Goverment of Hong Kong against all clsims in this respect.

For theme services you will be paid at the rate of £40 (forty pounds) per month and pro rate for part of a month such payment to take effect from the date that the instruments and apparetus are despatched from your works in the United Kingdom by the most direct route to Hong Kong and to cease on the date on which they are received at your works in the United Kingdom after the completion of the Geophysical Survey and their consigment from Hong Kong to your works by the most direct route,

That while the Geophysicist and Driller are employed in Hong Kong in connection with the investigation any necessary mediosl attention will be provided for them by the Government of Hong Kong free of cost to you provided that should either of them be incapacitated by illness for a period exceeding 7 (seven) consecutive days at eny one time then the payment for the services of the individual concerned as laid down in paragraphe (A) and (B) above as the ease may be shall cease until such time as he reames his employment on the investigation.

After the expiration of the period of 7 days should it sppear that such incapacity is likely to be prolonged then you will take such steps for the replacment of the individual as the Goverment of Hong Kong may consider necessary after reviewing the facts of th

That during their residence in Hong Kong in connection with the investigation the Geophysicist and triller will be provided by the Government of Hong Kong with such free lesal transport between their place of resideme in Hong Kong and the site of the investigation, and on the site of the investigation as is necessary for the proper perfomance of their duties.

That all boring and drilling plant necessary to enable the driller to conduct the relevant operatione required in connectior with the investigation, together with all fuel and consumable stores required in connection therewith will be provided on the site of the drilling operations by the Goverment of Hong Kong free of cost to you and the Doverment will also be responsible for all necessary maintenance and repairs to the plant and will provide auch locally obtained labour as may reasonably be required to assist the driller in the efficient operation of the plant.
